An antique sit-to-stand table with cast iron base. This unusual table features a wooden surface with black painted cast iron base, including a slide-and-lock mechanism for adjusting the height of the table from sitting to standing and anywhere in between. The tabletop has a bar for holding down papers and is also capable of tilting to create a mobile lectern. The piece is unmarked.
