Elaborately Carved Victorian Style Loveseat

An elaborately carved Victorian style loveseat. This item features a carved eagle to the center of the crest rail, flanked by carved flowers and scrolls, elements of the Rococo revival style. Arms, back, and seat, are padded and upholstered in a red velvet-like fabric. The front of the arms is ornamented with rosettes, leading to a pierced apron with acanthus leaf ornamentation. This piece sits on four cabriole legs with scroll feet.
