A hand knotted Persian Tabriz area rug. This wool pile rug features a Shah Abbasi palmette motif center lozenge in shades of pink, green, turquoise, cream, violet and orange within a turquoise colored field. The field is bounded by lime green floral spandrels and a mainly pink major border within minor borders of cream, green, violet and pink. A pink guard border marks the perimeter, and the far ends have white fringe.
