A sterling silver flatware set by Reed & Barton in the Renaissance-inspired pattern Francis I, first introduced in 1907 and then discontinued in 2015. The set includes: five 9.25’ long hollow-handled knives with stainless steel blades, four 8.9’ long hollow-handled knives with stainless steel blades, four 7.9’ long dinner forks, four 7.25’ long place forks, eight salad forks, four oval place spoons, eight teaspoons, two demitasse spoons, a lemon fork, and a short-handled pickle fork. The set is marked ‘Sterling Reed & Barton’ to the versos. The overall weight for the set, excluding the hollow-handled knives, is approximately 47.575 ozt.
