A Lewis, Rose Ltd silver plate dinner service for twelve. There are 11 dinner forks, 12 salad forks, 12 cocktail forks, 12 soup spoons, 12 long handled teaspoons, 12 teaspoons, 12 dinner knives, 4 serving spoons, a salad serving fork and spoon, 1 tong, 2 sugar spoons and 2 butter knives. A total of 95 pieces. This is a classical design that features a scalloped form inside scroll work at the end of the handle that is mirrored in the middle of the handle and copied again on the back of the spoon or fork. Knives are marked ‘Lewis, Rose & Co’ and ‘Sheffield England’, other pieces are marked ‘EPNS Made in England’. Comes in a locking wooden presentation box with an inlaid design on the top surface. Condition

missing one dinnner fork. All pieces appear clean, wear consistent with use. There is extensive delamination on the back of the display box, probably from water damage.
