Japanese Chrysanthemum Paper Washi Collage

Item Details

A Japanese washi paper collage of purple chrysanthemums in bloom on canvas board. This original work depicts three purple blossoms supported by green stems. The leaves have rough edges and are loosely spaced. The flowers are not centered in the image, but are placed to the right; no vase or other object is seen supporting them. A red seal mark is stamped to the left corner of the work. The work is housed in a gold tone frame, double matted in green and white, and affixed with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.
