Jacques Colbert Estate Oil on Canvas with Painting on the Reverse

An original oil painting on canvas by well listed American painter Jacques Colbert (1913-1995). It depicts a woman in traditional dress, with a two young girls, similarly dressed in long cloaks. One girl holds a white dog in her arms. It is stamped on the bottom right corner in black ‘Jacques Colbert Estate’. This work is presented unframed, mounted to a wooden stretcher. The back of the canvas has been painted, depicting a ballerina jumping in first arabesque.
