An original oil painting on canvas by well listed American painter Jacques Colbert (1913-1995). It depicts a group of women with white head scarves, wrapped in cloaks over long dresses before an open doorway of an arched roof building. It is predominately in shades of oranges, pinks, and browns, with contrasting blues, and yellow of the clothing. It is stamped on the bottom left corner in white ‘Jacques Colbert Estate’. This work is presented unframed, mounted to a wooden stretcher.
