Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas by listed artist Anthony Veccio (born 1949). This painting depicts a fierce horserace, with five steeds seen rounding a corner, leaning intensely into the curve. Created with gestural strokes of a palette knife, this expressive work was painted in cool blues and purples, as well as rosy pinks and hints of orange. Signed in red paint to lower right, this work is mounted behind a linen liner in a glossy black frame with hanging wire present to verso.

- wear present to frame, including slight loss to finish on center right and small dents throughout.
