This work features a winding water stream surrounded by autumnal trees, leading back to a bridge and a couple small cottages in the woods. Without any people present, that artist captures a calm, peaceful setting portrayed with layered painterly brushstrokes. The work is signed in black to the lower right over a lighter signature of the same name. Handwriting to the cardboard backing reads the title, artist, and locations in Pennsylvania. Presented in a gold-tone wood frame with an acanthus scroll relief design, it is ready to hang with picture wire to the verso.
