An antique Singer treadle sewing machine and hand-painted cabinet. This antique machine has a serial number of 3122213, which dates it as an 1879 production. It has black metal housing with an intricate decal embellishment. It is housed in a hand-painted cabinet with a hinged lid, a shallow compartmentalized center drawer, and three small supply drawers to either side. The black metal base houses the treadle mechanism.
