An original oil painting on canvas titled Still Life with Flowers by listed artist Harry Shoulberg (1903 – 1995). Rendered in an impasto technique, this abstract piece depicts a blue vase containing diversified flowers and a white fruit bowl with varied fruits sitting on a green table cloth, accompanied by a slim green bottle and a mandolin horizontally placed within cool tonalities in the background. The painting is signed by the artist to the lower left corner. It is presented without glass, under a light gray wooden mat and housed in a wood frame with distressed gray borders. There is a Doyle New York Auctioneer’s label and hanging wire affixed to the verso.
