Fine 19th Century Chinese Porcelain Vase
Item Details
A fine 19th-century Chinese baluster-form vase. The Chinese export vase has a deftly hand-painted mountainous landscape featuring an idyllic village scene with several figures. The scene is enhanced with finely painted trees and fauna. Two dragon-shaped decorative handles glazed in deep cobalt blue embellish the neck. The wide flared lip is decorated with delicate fronds of bamboo. The underside is unmarked.
Condition
- in mostly good condition, some minor wear along the rim, and wear to the right handle.
