An antiquarian six volume set of French-language Grecian tragedy and Latin poetry. These books have leather bindings with marbled boards, page edges and endpapers, with gilt on their spines. Included are Euripide Vol. 1 (1873), Euripide Vol. 2 (1873), Poésie Latine Vol. 1 (1868), Poésie Latine Vol. 2 (1869), Eschyle (1871), and Sophocle (1870). These volumes were each translated by Par M. Patin, and published by Librairie Hachette et Co., in Paris. The Aeschylus volume has a ribbon bookmark.
