Chinese Chang'e Moon Goddess and Chinoiserie Figurines

A collection of three Chinese and chinoiserie figurines. This collection features a dynamically cast plastic figurine of the elegant Chang’e (嫦娥), the goddess of the moon. She is shown above stylized clouds with swirling robes rising to her kingdom on the moon. A small rabbit, a traditional symbol of the moon, is present among the clouds. Also included here are two chinoiserie figures, a female wearing pleated robes holding a lotus bloom and a bearded man stroking his beard and holding a polearm. All three figurines are presented on black bases.
