A signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a painting by contemporary American artist Shari ‘Roxy’ Hatchett Bohlmann (born 1940), titled Fireworks Over Washington DC. The print depicts a playfully illustrated map of the city, featuring many of its prominent landmarks and destinations. Red, white, and blue fireworks spray across the night sky above the scene, and a printed American flag-themed border lines the piece. The print has a glossy applied surface coating. The print is signed and numbered ‘HC 55/100’ in ink to the lower corners; ‘HC’ stands for ‘Hors Commerce,’ meaning the print was originally not for sale and was intended as a display or promotional piece. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a thin black metal frame with a hanging wire.
