A hand-painted 800 silver enamel ‘Lion of Lucerne’ souvenir spoon. The enameled painting in the bowl of the spoon depicts the ‘Lion Monument’ in Lucerne sculptured in the early 19th century. The monument of the dying lion was created to honor the Swiss Guardsmen who lost their lives to the French Revolution. The backside of the spoon is stamped ‘800KFK’.
