A 2000 mixed media work on paper by well-listed American artist Joel Sokolov (b.1956). This is titled Dorland 2.2000 #12, and is the twelfth work of 2000 in his ongoing Dorland series, created at the Dorland Mountain Arts Retreat. It is created from acrylic, mixed media, and wood ash on paper. It depicts tall stalks of plants against a hazy sun and blue background. This work is presented in a glass fronted mottled gold frame. The back is signed and titled ‘Dorland 2/2000 #12’.
