A unique handmade Bakhtiari area rug. This rug features a patchwork motif in shades of burgundy, peach, black, brown, cream, and dark teal decorated by palmettes, boteh, and various other floral and foliate designs in shades of red, peach, teal, sage, golden, pale yellow, brown, tan, cream, and blue. The rug is surrounded by a cream main border with a floral motif in a similar color palette, which is flanked by two guard borders in burgundy, black, cream, and yellow. The rug is decorated by a white fringe at two ends and is tagged to the verso.
