A mixed media Persian painting. This work depicts a man holding a staff standing before an unfurled scroll adorned with writing in black ink. Seen next to him is a vibrant, enlarged pomegranate, possibly indicating its significance to the Iranian festival Yalda Night. An artist signature is written in ink below. It is presented behind acrylic-glass in a black plastic frame with a sawtooth bracket attached to its verso ready for hanging.
