German Beer Steins featuring Marzi & Remy
Item Details
A collection of four ceramic beer steins. Two steins have a relief design and one of these is marked with a stylized potter’s wheel, with no text. This mark was used by Marzi & Remy from 1879 to 1964. The other dimensional stein reads ‘Germany’ underneath. Two steins feature applied graphic design featuring ‘Schlitz’ and ‘Hirsch Brauerei Wurmlingen’ brewery branded motifs.
Condition
- surface scratches; Schlitz stein has a chip on underside base.
