Merchandise Service "Versailles" Stainless Steel Flatware Set and Storage Container

A selection of stainless steel flatware in the Versailles design, produced by Merchant Service in Japan. This selection includes eleven tablespoons, ten teaspoons, three iced tea spoons, seven dinner knives, eight dessert forks, two dinner forks, one pie server, and one unmatched spoon, marked ‘Rogers Stainless Korea’. The other pieces are marked ‘Versailles Stainless By MSI Japan’, and have ornate stems and handles: the forks with foliate and floral embossed designs along the stem, and scrolling acanthus leaf applications along the edge of the handle, and flower blooms on the terminal. These pieces come in a tiered wooden storage container, lined with red felt, and marked with a round decal reading ’Nacken’s Tarnish Proof Silverware Chest’.
