An original watercolor painting on paper titled Bristol 1864 by listed American watercolorist Charles DeWolf Brownell (1822-1909). The painting depicts the rumbling water of the ocean with a sliver of land to the background. It is inscribed in the lower right with the title and date, ‘Bristol July 64’ It is inscribed in the upper left is the letter ‘N’. There is a gallery label on verso from Borghi Fine Art Gallery. The piece is accompanied by catalog from a Hirschl & Adler Galleries exhibition. Presented behind glass, beneath a white mat, housed in a gesso and gilt frame.
