Erté 1982 Limited Edition Serigraph "Love's Captive"

A limited edition signed serigraph by listed Russian-French artist Romain de Tirtoff, known professionally as Erté (1892-1990). The 1982 print, titled Love’s Captive, depicts a frightened woman in blue robes set against a frozen landscape. She stands among red patterned pillars with an owl on her shoulder. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right margin and hand-numbered 177/300 to the lower left. The piece is double-matted in grey and white with a silver tone bevel. The print is presented under acrylic in a black wooden frame with silver tone plastic accents and wire to the back for hanging.
Condition
- some scratching to frame, loosening to decorative plastic joints; print slightly rippling under mat.
