Erté 1987 Limited Edition Serigraph "Hindu Princess"
Item Details
A limited edition signed serigraph by listed Russian-French artist Romain de Tirtoff, known professionally as Erté (1892-1990). The 1987 print, titled Hindu Princess, depicts a dancer against a black background, wearing an ornate orange costume accented with tassels, pearls and butterfly-motif patterns. The print is signed in white to the lower right and hand-numbered CXLI/CCL to the lower left. The unframed piece is mounted on cardboard with a protective plastic covering.
Condition
- to Fair; creasing and wear to corners and edges; print is unframed and mounted to cardboard with plastic; damage to corners of cardboard backing; residue to plastic covering.
