1987 Erté Serigraph "The Necklace"
Item Details
A 1987 limited edition serigraph by listed artist Erté, titled The Necklace. This embossed serigraph with foil depicts a topless woman with an ornament-shaped lower body and an ornate headdress. The woman’s outstretched arms are hung with strings attaching her to a pair of aerial figures, who support her by grasping her hands. The print is numbered 174/250 to the lower left and signed by hand to the lower right side. It is set in a dark gray matte with white lines and placed in a silver tone frame with a wire for hanging.
Condition
- some light surface wear to frame and to plastic over image; fading to red ornamentation on print.
