A hand colored lithograph after an original illustration by listed Australian artist Ida Rentoul Outhwaite (1888-1960). Outhwaite was a turn-of-the-century children’s book illustrator, whose pictures of fairies were popular in the 1920s. This image depicts two children flying through space in a bed. The print is matted in off white and presented under glass in a composite wood frame with wire to the back for hanging.

Condition

- loose corner joints to frame; light overall wear with age.
