A collection of items relating to the 1939 illustrated children’s book Little Toot and its author, Hardie Gramatky. This collection features a Disney Decades collectible coin commemorating the Little Toot segment of the 1948 Disney package film Melody Time, and a children’s T-shirt and baby bib with embroidered Little Toot designs. This collection also includes a DVD of a 1977 ‘Chalk Talk’ given by Hardie Gramatky in Dallas, Texas; an exhibition catalog from a 1989 Hardie Gramatky retrospective at the Stary-Sheets Art Gallery; a cassette tape of all the Little Toot stories performed by Hans Conried; and more.
