An assortment of Summer of Love 30th Anniversary posters including limited editions. The collection features original posters from 1997 including a Gathering of Tribes cardstock poster signed in ink by hand to lower right by Dennis Loren and numbered 295 of 1000 and a cardstock Renewal of Compassion poster signed by hand in ink by Gary Grimshaw numbered 450 of 515. Also included is a blue Council of Summer of Love poster. The late Gary Grimshaw (1946-2014) began his career creating concert posters for the Grande Ballroom in Detroit in the ’60’s and later served as art director for the Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival as well as associate art director for Creem magazine. Dennis Loren has created concert posters and album covers for over 42 years beginning with creating concert posters for notable venues including the Fillmore and the Avalon Ballroom in the ’60’s. In later years he served as art director for magazines including Blitz!, Goldmine, R.P.M., Cream and Metal.
