Item Details
A group of vintage offset lithographs of birds and a mixed media piece. The two works depict colorful pheasants with long trailing feathers posed amongst rocks, trees and flowers. Pheasant on a Rock is housed in a stained wood frame with a gold tone plastic detail, matted with a sage green mat and tan liner, covered with glass, and wired ready to hang. Two Pheasants is presented in the same manner. They both have a gallery sticker on the verso from Windsor Art Products in California. The mixed media work depicts a purple crested bird with blue plumage standing alert on a branch with green leaves. The bird is constructed of thin reeds and feathers, and the white surface is painted in watercolors. The image is presented in a silver tone wood frame, matted in white with a turquoise and blue liner, covered with glass, and affixed with a swatooth hanger. No artist signature is present, but the gallery sticker to the verso is from Glasgow Glass Company in Glasgow, Kentucky.
Condition
- wear to all three frames; some staining to matting; discoloration in mixed media bird.
