An original oil and acrylic painting on neutral denim canvas titled Satori by contemporary Cincinnati artist and fashion designer Anthony Frommeyer, created in 2016. The painting is created in vertical striations of paint in a variety of energetic colors, punctuated occasionally with patches of texture and spots. The painting is signed and titled in ink to the verso, where a hanging wire is also attached. Frommeyer discovered art at the age of 15, after the tragic loss of his father in a car accident. He found solace in expressing his emotions and anxiety through the expressive use of color, stating that as he paints his soul feels no boundaries, allowing him to move from color to color with ease, eventually creating stunning, abstract works.
