Vintage WMF Silver Plate Container and a Silver Tone Box

Item Details

A vintage container and a silver tone box. The vintage container is by Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik and is long and narrow in shape with embossed decorations on the lid and sides. It is marked on the bottom: ‘N’ with the maker’s mark and ‘I/O’. The letters signify that this piece is constructed of nickel silver with a normal thickness of plating. The small silver tone box with the silver bow on the lid has a label that reads: ‘China’.

Condition

- long container is in fair condition due to tarnishing and corrosion; small silver tone box is in good condition.
