Item Details
An original early-20th century gouache painting on paperboard by listed American artist Fred Pearce (Indiana, 20th century). The painting depicts an autumnal forest scene, featuring many wide trunks of what seem to be birch trees. The trees line a small stream that cuts through the forest, reflecting light that pours through the trees above. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with cast Art Nouveau surface embellishments, seamless corners, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. - paper is slightly warped across. Cracking to frame.
