An original acrylic on canvas by contemporary American Abstract Expressionist painter Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957), titled Green Stripe, circa 2010. The image depicts an energetic, non-objective composition of ochre, black-green and purple, white and yellow patches of paint aggressively intertwined and splattered, layered underneath a strikingly bold green streak of paint near the upper edge. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
