A handwoven Pakistani Bokhara area rug. It is made of woolen fibers and features a cherry red field with white and black repeating Tekke gul motif. It has a complex, compound border of varying traditional motifs, with a primary border having a starburst medallion in a flower box frame design. It has overcast edges and a long hand-tied cotton warp fringe to either end. Tagged to reverse, ‘Made in Pakistan, 100% Wool Pile, Child Labour Free.’
