Item Details
An oil painting on canvas landscape titled The smoke house by listed contemporary Ohio artist Nancy Pendery (born 1937). The piece depicts a wintry scene with a frozen body of water, situated amongst snowy fields and defoliated trees, contiguous to a wooden cottage within distant woods and blue skies in the background. The piece is signed by the artist in blue paint to the lower right corner of the composition. It is presented without glass, and housed in a golden tone frame. There is a descriptive handwritten inscription, Scripps Howards, Inc property label and hanging wire present to the verso. The piece is ready to hang.
