Nancy Van Deren Original Signed Watercolor Painting

A signed original watercolor painting, circa 1979, by contemporary American artist, Nancy Van Deren (b.1944), who is best known for her very colorful, abstract paintings and various printmaking techniques, in which she often uses nature and landscapes as a point of departure and inspiration. This painting features multiple overlapping colored stripes in shades of yellow, orange, pink and blue. This piece is pencil signed and dated by the artist in the lower right margin. The painting has a large white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
Condition
Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
