A black painted Japanese campaign chest. A black lacquered wood chest that features a rectangular shape, a carved and curved top with a painted floral design, three top drawers and three bottom drawers with wood and veneer applique, two inset gold painted doors with an Asian motif that open onto wood drawers and shelves with gold painted birds. The chest has vintage ornamental and functional brass hinges with brass corners and pulls, the apron is three painted drawers and the legs are cabriole.
