A vintage hand knotted area rug from Shoemaker Art Looms in Peking China. This handmade rug features a lavender and white tone-on-tone medallion center framed by a yellow border and is finished with a deep sapphire blue edge. The yellow border has repeating floral and insect designs in shades of blue, purple, red and green. It has a cotton warp to the ends. There is a heavily faded illegible tag to the back.
