1906 Singer Treadle Sewing Machine

A 1906 Singer treadle sewing machine, with flip down hiding space. Housed in an ornately carved, wooden cabinet with four drawers. This iron, black sewing machine, is ornately decorated in a gold gilt Egyptian theme, boasting of winged sphinxes, and lotus flowers. The cast iron, open work bottom has the “Singer” spelled out in its center. The Singer medallion is affixed to the front of the machine. Comes with a later vintage notions box.
