A pair of English cottage figurines. Included is a charming English Tudor style cottage, made of crystacal, a form of natural gypsum. The hand-painted two-story cottage features stone walls, brick chimneys and diamond pane windows, and is marked ‘David Winter 1986 around the edge of the base. To the underside the cottage is marked ’The Masterpiece Collection, Falstaf Manor by David Winter – No. 1682 – The Studios and Workshops of John Hine Ltd. – copyright 1986 David Winter’. A smaller, white cottage is made of cast resin, and features planters of rose bushes. It is marked to the base ‘Lilliput Lane Ltd. copyright 1984 UK’. It is also labeled to the underside ‘Lilliput Lane – Dove Cottage – A Genuine Lilliput Lane Product Hand Made and Painted in Great Britain’.
