Original Leon Danchin Hand Colored Etching "Three Pointers"
Item Details
An original hand colored etching on paper titled Three Pointers by noted French artist Leon Danchin (1887-1939). It depicts three hunting dogs, each with collars around their necks. The canines are hand colored in soft tones of gray and yellow. Danchin’s signature can be seen in the bottom left corner. The top left corner is marked ‘Copyright 1938 by L. Danchin 6 rue Edmond About, Paris’. Matted in black with gold tone and wood grain trim, the art is set behind acrylic glass in a wooden frame with a two tone gold and reddish-brown finish. Hangs from a wire on the reverse.

- Some scratches on the acrylic glass; minor wear to the paper backing
