An original engraved map on laid paper, circa 1773, by famed French cartographer Philippe Prétot (1710-1787), sometimes also known as André Philippe Etienne. The map is titled Chorographie de la Généralité de Paris, and was published in Paris. It depicts the area surrounding Paris captured in great detail, and has a detailed cartouche and map key printed to the lower left. It is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.

Condition

- map is very yellowed and has light foxing. Light creasing across, and one long vertical crease to center from being in book.
