A hand-tinted photograph titled Piazzo San Marco by listed contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Diana Duncan Holmes, dated 1981. The work depicts a sepia-toned scene at Saint Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy. The square is filled with crowds of people and pigeons, and recedes St. Mark’s Basilica in the background. The piece is presented behind glass, under a single layer of white mat and housed in a simple wood frame. A Toni Birckhead Gallery label and a Scripps Howard, Inc. property label are adhered to the verso, along with a pair of d-rings for hanging.

- minor tears to paper backing.
