An offset lithograph after an original painting titled Emperor Xuangzong’s Flight to Shu by an anonymous Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279). The work, housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, depicts the Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang dynasty (960-1127) after his attempt to flee to the state of Shu (modern day Sichuan). Framed in gold tone wooden frame that has a bamboo inspired border, ready to hang.
