J. Metzler Watercolor of Birds
Item Details
A pair of watercolors of birds by J. Metzler. This lot contains two paintings and features birds either in flight or eating near a beach shoreline. Metzler relies on a two tone color palette of blue and brown to render these subjects, which pop against the faded background of watercolor washes. An artist signature is seen in the bottom right-hand corner. They are double matted grey and white and are presented in a gold tone metal frame behind glass. Wire is attached to their verso and each is ready for hanging.
Condition
- frames could benefit from a dusting; sticker residue on backing of frame.
