Vintage Modified Thomas Edison Victrola Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage Victrola cabinet by Thomas A. Edison Inc. It has a brushed metal body, with a removable top and pull down door to the cabinet body, which sits on styled spheres on ogee feet. The body’s interior is lined with wood, with woven carpeting to the floor and door. The square top has a marble inset with beveled wooden frame, and removes to reveal a reflective metal interior with socket for a light bulb and hole to the bottom so the light shines through to the bottom interior. It has a pull chain for the light, accessible from the outside. Maker’s marks in two places.
