An oil on board view titled ’From My Window, Palm, Mallorca by Cincinnati female impressionist Dixie Selden (1871 – 1936). Signed in the lower left and with titled inscribed by the artist on verso.

Dixie Selden was a Cincinnati born artist and one of the highly regarded female impressionist painters. She was well traveled, and best known for European subjects such as this. Italian subjects such as this are more rare, as Selden spent much of her career painting southern French subjects.

Exhibited in the Panorama of Cincinnati Art XXIII, Cincinnati Art Gallery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
