Group of Vintage Piggy Banks
Item Details
A group of mid-century piggy banks. This set includes a circa 1960s yellow chalkware piggy bank by the Silvestri Brothers, a light pink iron piggy bank, and bright blue ceramic piggy bank. The blue piggy bank is decorated with a butterfly and flowers; it is marked ‘Patented 139366’ to the base.
Condition
- considerable chipping and wear to paint; scratches and stains throughout; the iron bank is rusting in the chipped areas; no stoppers included; Silvestri bank is unopened.
