Colt 1851 Navy Revolver "Baby Dragoon" Variant with Engraved Cylinder
Item Details
A variant of the Colt Model 1851 Navy cap-and-ball revolver, by Pietta of Italy. This is the ‘Baby Dragoon’ variant in 31 caliber, with a 4’ barrel. The cylinder is engraved with a Western scene of a stagecoach coming under attack from bandits. The action and trigger were working at the time of cataloging, however the actual firing condition is unknown. This piece is being sold as a historic collectible. Some lead ball shot is included.
